Together Again
Alice Wadeine Eigenman "Deene" Harold Leroy Eigenman
January 23, 1930 – July 22, 1931
So many special memories that are left behind by two beautiful souls that are in the loving arms of our Lord. Alice Wadeine Eigenman (Coplin) better known as "Deene" was born on July 22, 1931, in Weleetka, Oklahoma, to Charles M. and Ruby L. Coplin. She entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2022, at the age of 91. A year and 5 months later her husband Harold Leroy Eigenman entered into eternal rest at the age of 94 years, on March 8, 2024, in his Hanford home. He was born in Axtell, Kansas on January 23, 1930, to Laurence C. and Pauline Eigenman.
Both of their families came to California when they were young. They attended schools in Hanford. After graduating Harold joined the United States Navy serving his country. Deene went into the work force working in various restaurants. After serving his county he came back to his hometown Hanford, the following year 1955 they were married on Christmas day. They picked that day since it was the birth of Jesus. Together they shared 67 years, full of memories; they did everything together like; traveling, hunting, camping, and going on trail bike competitions. Harold and his brother Leo owned and operated an auto repair garage (L & H garage), for 52 years. Deene worked by his side doing all the bookkeeping.
Not able to have any children of their own they decided to open their heart and home to foster children then they adopted, Joe and Anne. Deene was full of love and willing to share it with any soul, but especially children. No matter what time of the night she would take any child in need of a home. Harold supported her decision since that made her happy. Deene was very artistic and loved quilting, sewing and working in her garden. Harold enjoyed his motorcycles, working on his cars (Corvairs), and making his guns, also finding time to photograph.
They are survived by their children; Anne and Joe Eigenman, siblings; Ken and wife Kittie Coplin, Eber and wife Claudine Coplin, Jean and Mary Ann grandchildren; Derek, Ryan, Jennifer, Meagan and their great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Deene and Harold are preceded in death by their parents; Charles and Ruby Coplin, Laurence and Pauline Eigenman, siblings; Susie, Gwen, David and Leo.
They left footprints on this earth that will never be forgotten.
