Timothy Dale
Mcnabb
May 28, 1956 – August 24, 2024
Timothy Dale McNabb, 68, of Lemoore, California passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024. Please come join the family at noon on October 12, 2024, at the Lemoore Veteran's Hall for a celebration of life with his family, his favorite foods and storytelling. (411 West D Street)
Tim was born to Jerry and Helen McNabb, on May 28, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Carol, their son Tim McNabb Jr, his wife Crystal McNabb, daughter Sonya Rocha, grandsons Connor, Tatum, Caleb, and Seth, his brother, Dan McNabb and his wife Kelly McNabb, and sister, Janna Smith and her husband Dan Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Cathy Thigpen.
Tim served 11 years in the United States Navy, remaining a passionate patriot throughout his life. His Navy years and the friendships he formed during that time were very impactful on him. He stayed in touch or reconnected with many of them, just to name a few: Pat McCabe, Ryan Garrett, Wayne Garrett, Dave Eilers, and many others. Pat McCabe was a special spiritual friend who shared many sleepless nights with Tim discussing everything from faith, children, politics and weapons, as well as their deep love for their wives and duty to country.
Tim had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and golf whenever he could. After the Navy, he pursued a degree in Agriculture Science and became one of only 2 Certified Arborist's in Central California. He thoroughly enjoyed overseeing the ground's maintenance for all of NAS Lemoore's green spaces for more than a dozen years.
Tim had a deep love for the things of "Christ" and was known for his kind and generous spirit. He would respond to any request for help, if it was something he could do. His generous heart carried over to his love for animals. He would have rescued countless dogs and cats if we had room for them. His latest rescue, Zoe, still misses him.
We will all miss Tim's sense of humor, love for God and family, and his generous heart.
