Samuel G. Sanchez, age 94, of Hanford, California, passed away on June 3, 2026, in his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 6, 1931, in Jerome, Arizona and raised by Joe & Connie Sanchez. Samuel grew up in Jerome, Arizona, where he began working as a milk delivery boy. He later moved to Hanford, California, and attended Hanford High School, where he met the love of his life, Clara Rodriguez. Samuel and Clara were married on October 30, 1951, and shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. One year later, they welcomed their first daughter, Susan, and seven years later, their second daughter, Sammi. Throughout his adult life, Samuel owned and operated a lawn care business and a bicycle repair shop. He had a remarkable ability to fix just about anything he could get his hands on and took great pride in his work. Those who knew Samuel will remember his kindness, warmth, and genuine love for others. He never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel valued and cared for. Samuel is survived by his daughters, Susan Martin and Sammi Brieno; his grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, and Sam Brieno; his great-grandchildren, Aiden, Kaitlyn, Keagon, Kennedy, and Kolton Brieno; and his great-great-grandson, Santiago Brieno. Samuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara Sanchez, as well as his parents. Though he will be deeply missed, Samuel leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, faithfulness, and devotion to family that will continue for generations to come. His family finds comfort in the many memories he created and the lasting impact he made on all who knew and loved him.
