Roy Gene Swafford was 54 when he was called home February 20,2025. Roy was born in Hanford, California to Larry and Sharon Swafford on May 5, 1970. Roy had a great love for travel and spent many of his younger years traveling with the Carnival but always made it back home during the winter months.

Roy is survived by his aunt Becky Howell and his uncle James Howel as well as his sisters Sherry Shryock and Jackie Swafford.

He is also survived by cousins Lisa Haggard who considered Roy a brother, Michael G Swafford, Connie Haile, Andrea Sterling, Amanda Murguia, Frank Flores Jr, Angie Denison, Jasmine Torres, and Houston, Brayden, and Dalton Howel.

Roy had no children of his own but was surrounded by many nieces and nephews who adored him.
