Ronald Dean Irvin "Ronnie", age 71, passed away on March 21, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Ron was born on March 12, 1954, to Robert and Winnie Irvin in Dumas, Arkansas. He came to California with his family when he was 4 years old, where he has resided ever since.
He joined the US Army in 1971 at the age of 17, after losing his mother.  He served 4 years in the service.  When he returned home, he met Linda (McGrew), his loving wife of almost 49 years.  They married on June 5, 1976, and bought their first home in Armona in 1979.
Ron lived in Armona for more than 25 years before moving to Lemoore to care for his daughter. He worked as a mechanic and in agricultural management. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved to travel, he would take his wife, hook up to his fifth wheel railer and travel across the states to see family or just enjoy new places.
His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Ron gave each one of his grandchildren their own special nickname, including his newest great-granddaughter "princess".

He is survived by his beloved wife Linda, their three children, Robert (Patty) Irvin, Shelley Irvin, and Amber (Jay) Potter, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, along with many loved cousins, nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his brother Bobby Jo Irvin and sister Thelma "Janie" Irvin.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Winnie Irvin, his loving stepmother Dovie, his brother Jasper and his sister Patricia.

Services are being held for Ron on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Armona Central Assembly of God Church at 14341 Hanford-Armona Rd, Armona, CA 93202. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 am followed by funeral services. There will be a short graveside service at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona following services.
