Richard Allen Philpott, 67 of Hanford, Ca passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2023, after a long battle of cancer with his loving family by his side.

He is survived by his wife Susan Philpott, his daughter Jennifer Valenti and his stepdaughter, Amberly Barragan and husband Arthur, Stepson Eric Lloyd and stepdaughter Kristen Cabrea and husband Manuel. He had seven granddaughters; Katie Barragan, Emily Barragan, Jasmine Rincon, Sydnee Huff, Katelynn Rincon, Natalie Barragan and Jordan Cabrera and one grandson; Isayas Garcia. He also leaves behind his two brothers-in-law's; Randy Bloomfield and Wayne Bloomfield and his most favorite mother-in-law; Joan Welch and his nieces and great nieces, his aunts, cousins and friends nearby.

Richard was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal and brave. He loved being a Papa to his grandchildren. He loved taking them to the amusement parks, camping the beach and just road trips.

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them and if you knew him, you would.

When his time came, He carried himself with dignity, strength and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.
