Rhonda Lynette Cotta was born to Robert Cotta and Rosemary Freitas July 13th 1968. Rhonda Cotta
Alvarez went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday October 6th 2021 after a long battle with her
health.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Alvarez, father Robert Cotta, paternal grandparents
Manuel and Rachel Cotta, maternal grandfather Joe Freitas Sr. and a dear family friend Dominic
Marlowe Harris.
Rhonda is survived by her three children Amber (Issac) Sanchez-Hernandez of Hanford, Esteban II
(Malyssa) Hernandez of Hanford and Salina (Joseph) Hernandez of Lemoore. Four grandchildren, Xzavier
& Amiyah Sanchez, Jazlyn (Jazzy) & Esteban III (Chewy) Hernandez. Grandmother Hilda Superian of
Hanford, mother Rosemary Freitas of Lemoore, brother Rodney (Sandy) Cotta of Lemoore, sisters
Ronette (Adam) Thomas of Hanford, and Dalen Mullet of Ohio. She was a beloved aunt and cousin to
many including great nieces and nephews.
"Sister" Rhonda was well known throughout the community with her years of service working at Taco Bell and
her active part of the church.
Rhonda had an infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest of rooms. She was a prayer warrior
and loved the lord and would share with anyone who would listen. She gave her praises daily especially
with every conversation she encountered.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday October 20th at 10 a.m. at Lemoore Cemetery. Celebration
of life following services at the Veterans Memorial Hall at 411 W D St, Lemoore, CA 93245.
