Peggy Anne Chism of Hanford, entered into rest on May 28, 2021, at the age of 74. She was born in San Jose, California to William Melvin Henson and Mattie Dellar Courtwright Henson.

She was a Jack of all trades when it came to work, and an extremely hard worker, some of her jobs included a Youth Counselor for the Boys School, a truck driver, running an Emergency Shelter Home for Kings County Foster Care System, and the owner of Lace & Things. Peggy was a kind and generous person who would give the shirt off her back to a stranger.

Some of her favorite past times were working in her yard and garden. She also enjoyed going to the Tachi Palace to try her luck at Bingo and the slot machines.

She is survived by her sister Faye Braly; One brother Jack Henson; four children, Michael Weber, Charla Furtado, Joseph Weber, and Rhonda Magnus; her grandchildren, Michelle Cross, Cody Furtado, Desiree Sousa, TJ Haley, Bryan Weber and Dylan Wood and numerous great-grandchildren.

She will be missed dearly by all, but we fell some comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and in pain and has found peace and joy in Heaven with her loved ones who have gone on before her.
