Paul Russo was born on October 4, 1954, in Whittier, California, to Joseph and Elidia Russo. He stopped counting at 65 years.

He was intrigued by cars and like working on them so much that he became a car mechanic and made it a career for 40 years. Some of his interest where going to the coast and enjoying the outdoors, camping under the stars and taking in nature. Racing was what he love to do the most, the excitement of racing kept his interest for a long time. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his children to continue his legacy; sons; John and Gabriel, daughter; Jessica and husband Anthony, brothers; Joe, Genaro, Manny and Robert, sisters; Julia, Paula and Frances. As well as his nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother , Elidia, his siblings; Miguel, Ralph, Richard, Frank, Buddy and Carmen.
