Paul David Mabry
Born 28 June 1973
Passed 1 July 2018
Paul started this journey June 28, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio
He passed on July 1, 2018 in Visalia, California. He had just turned 45.
He was met excitedly by his parents and big sister. He was loved from the time he arrived on this earth and will be loved long after he's left it.
A man beloved by all who knew him.
Paul had many joys in his life: His two beautiful girls, Faith and Caitlin; dancing, music and singing; the New York Giants; Vans; poker nights, laughter and people. Paul loved people. He greeted so many with a smile, often a "bring it in" bear hug, scruffy-faced kisses and a contagious energy.
He is survived by his daughters Faith Mabry and Caitlin Mabry, his mother, Glenda (Kimbrough) Mabry; his sister, Lisa (Mabry) Tarbell; his partner Carrie Foster and her two children, Chris and Mady; nieces and nephews; and by countless family, friends, coworkers, poker buddies and life-long "brothers from another mother." We are especially grateful for the second family Paul was part of at Anderson Striping & Construction.
A memorial service will be held July 16, 2018 11:30 am at
New Covenant Community Church 1744 E Nees Ave, Fresno
A lunch reception will follow at the church.
Paul will be laid to rest at a graveside service for family prior to the memorial at
Mountain View Cemetery, Fresno, California
One thing that has been said many times since his passing: He wouldn't want his friends, family or ceremonies to be sad. He was often referred to as "the life of the party." Whether with his dance moves, impersonations, or his knack for comedic timing - it was usually guaranteed that where he was, fun times would be had. In keeping with this spirit we know he would want his celebration of life to be no different: He would want good music, good memories and lots of laughs.
To honor him there will be a time of sharing and music at the reception so please come with a fun story or memory of Paul. In true Paul fashion he will be sporting shorts and Vans as he is laid to rest so the family asks that all feel comfortable wearing what they would wear to pop by his house for an afternoon barbeque or poker night. New York Giants red, white and blue would also be a tribute.
