Longtime Coalinga resident Mike Wilson passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the age of 68. Mike was born on April 18, 1956, to Keith and Neda Wilson. He married the love of his life Doreen Wilson on August 7, 1974, and they raised their family in Coalinga.

Mike was the owner and operator of his construction company Mike Wilson Construction for the last 28 years. He enjoyed racing motocross, reading/ watching all things motocross and playing with his grandchildren.

Mike leaves behind his beloved wife Doreen of 50 years, three children and their spouses: Renee and Nanci Wilson of Fresno, Celeste Martin of Coalinga, Mike and Samantha Wilson of Fresno. Their father will forever be remembered for his ornery spunky personality with the most giving heart. He loved spontaneous family trips, fishing, camping trips to Huntington Lake, and camping at the racetrack.

Mike's grandchildren were the light of his life. He was so proud of each of his six grandchildren: Makaela Wilson, Cadence Martin, Jensen Martin, Jett Wilson, Wyatt Wilson and Willow Wilson. Their Papa never missed an opportunity to get down and play with them, take them on rides on his dirt bike and spoil them rotten.

Mike is survived by two siblings: Cam and Cathy Sills of Coalinga, Pam Litke of Springfield, Missouri. In addition to many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Kieth and Neda Wilson and brother Mark Wilson.

There will be a graveside service on April 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 40054 Calaveras Ave, Coalinga, Ca 93210
