With a broken heart we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Mary Markle, on April 29, 2023. She was born to Cash and Daisy Pirtle in Oklahoma, on July 15, 1941.

She was the true definition of a mother! Whether you were a son or a daughter, she prepared her children for life by teaching them all the chores around the house. She was a kind, generous, and loving woman who loved and protected the people she loved with fierce devotion.

Mary leaves behind her children to continue her legacy, Martin Markle and Virginia Atkins. Her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bobby, and son Toby.

On Angel's wings you were taken but, in my heart, you'll stay and in God's light you will rest. Until we meet again someday.
