Marlene Cynthia Azevedo of Laton California passed away on Monday, March 13 ^th at the age of 65. She was born to the late John and Lydia Azevedo on February 11, 1952 in Hanford California. Marlene is survived by her children Richard Azevedo and his wife Terri, Lucy Coelho and her husband Sergio, granddaughters Morgan, Makayla, Kylie, Victoria, grandson Ashton, brother John Azevedo and his wife Theresa, sister-in-law Karen Azevedo who is the widow of her late brother Lionel, nephews Jason, Ryan, Nick, Josh, Tyson and numerous great nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by granddaughters Marissa and Macie, grandsons Trevor and Bryce, her parents John and Lydia Azevedo, and her brother Lionel Azevedo.

Marlene was a kind, generous, and loving woman who loved and protected the people she loved with fierce devotion. She always had a quick joke, funny story, or compassionate ear for a family and friends that will miss her dearly but feel comfort in knowing she is free of pain and has found peace and joy in Heaven with her loved ones who have gone on before her.

Viewing will be on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 pm at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 20855 Fatima Avenue, Laton 93242. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with internment to follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Laton 93242.
