Mariano Mata Montoya III, better known as Junie. He was born in San Jose, California to Mariano Montiel Montoya Jr., and Carmen Mata on August 13, 1960. He entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2023, in Hanford, California at the age of 62 years.

He worked for over 25 years as a welder, and he was a dedicated son he took care of his parents until their passing. When his dad passed away, he gave up on many things, he wanted to be reunited with his parents.

He leaves behind his sister Rachel M. Ortiz, two nieces, two nephews, four great-nephews and three great-nieces.

Junie will be missed by his family and friends.
