Maria Del Carmen Cruz Marquez was born on May 10, 1957, a gift and a blessing to her parents, since her date of birth is when Mexican mother's day is celebrated. She was born in Ensenada, Baja California to Felipe Cruz Castro and Guadalupe Marquez Trujillo. She lost her fight due to cancer, she always kept a positive attitude and was able to fight it for many years. She gave our family the strength and was our rock that kept everyone together, we feel lost without her. She loved being around family and always cheerful and outgoing.

We will keep her legacy alive with our children and family. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Anselmo, her daughters, Carmen and Andrea. Her beloved grandchildren, son-in laws, a brother Guadalupe Castro, one sister Teresa Cruz.
