Lupe Camarena (Arteaga), was born on December 12, 1956, in Jalisco, Mexico to Luis Camarena and Concepcion Huerta de Camarena. She entered into eternal rest on April 15, 2021, surrounded by her family in Hanford, California at the age of 64 years.

She married Mariano in Hanford, California on September 18, 2010, and together they had a wonderful family which includes six daughters, Elizabeth, Ester, Veronica, Janie, Lucia, and Angela; her son, Fabian.

Lupe was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother supporting her family through numerous journeys of life. She was a kind, generous, and loving woman who protected the people she loved with fierce devotion. She enjoyed reading her bible and always putting God first, and teaching her family about the love of God. There was no one that could cook like her, the aromas of her homemade food is something that will be missed. She would spend hours in her garden and playing with her grandchildren and her four legged companion.

We will miss her dearly, but feel comforted in knowing she is free of pain and has found peace and joy in Heaven with her loved ones who have gone on before her.

She leaves behind her family to continue her legacy her husband Mariano, daughters, Elizabeth Tillis, Ester De la Cruz, Veronica Vallejo, Janie Vallejo, Lucia Arteaga and Angela Aguila; her son, Fabian; her eleven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jose and Jesus; sisters, Aurelia, Lourdes, Rosalinda, Juana and Socorro.
