(HAZEL) KATHLEEN HILYARD
May 26, 1927—June 21, 2018
KATHLEEN HILYARD, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 91. Kathy was born in Tupelo, Mississippi to Jack and Mable Rowland in a large and loving extended family. Her childhood was spent getting into mischief with her cousins. She was proud of babysitting Elvis Presley, a neighbor of her family. Her entire family moved to Indiana when work could no longer be found in Tupelo. Kathleen moved to Fresno in 1955, however, has many loving relatives in Indiana.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Dana Walker and her husband, Bill, Roger and his wife Charmaine, and her son Todd. Her daughter Sheila is deceased. Her grandchildren include Sara Salanitro (whom she raised) and her husband Matt, Tiffany Galassie, Daren and his wife Megan, Nolan, and Casey, Kevin Walker and his wife Sue, and deceased grandsons Bryan Walker and Adam Walker. Great grandchildren include Mychael Walker, Connor Hilyard, Autumn Smith, and Charlotte Hilyard.

Viewing will be at Yost and Webb June 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. and a graveside service to be held June 28 at 10 a.m. at Belmont Memorial Park.
