Joseph Gabriel Fagundes, 80 passed away at home with his family by his side. He was born in the Azores and immigrated with his parents, Joe and Caroline Fagundes. He was ten years old when they came to the United States.

As a young man he worked on dairies, but later opened Joe's Tires in Hanford, he enjoyed the tire shop and was in business for almost forty years. He retired at seventy-eight years old due to poor health.

He was married to Janice for forty-nine years, they raised four children together: Kenny Fagundes (Tish), Nancy Wright (Derrell), Cheryl Fagundes, and Mike Fagundes (Diana). They had nine grandchildren: KJ, Kayden, Shebi, Joseph, Brooke, James, Michael, Brian and Tyler. And Seven great-grandchildren: Caleb, Lillie, Emmelyn, Austyn, Samantha, Hudson, Haeden, and arriving in December James. He loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
