In Loving Memory of Javier Rojas Estrada
June 26, 1968 – February 18, 2026
Javier Rojas Estrada, 57, of Hanford, passed away on February 18, 2026. Born on June 26, 1968, he was a lifelong resident of Hanford and a man deeply rooted in his community and devoted to his family.
Most recently employed as a Maintenance Mechanic with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), he took great pride in his work. He was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and the skill he brought to everything he did. Dependable and loyal, he was someone others could always count on.
He will be remembered for his humor and quick wit — always ready with a joke and able to make others laugh, even in difficult times. Beneath that humor was a steadfast, loving man whose loyalty to his family and friends never wavered.
He loved spending time outdoors and found joy in hunting and riding his quads. Whether out in nature or gathered with family, those were the moments that brought him peace and happiness. Above all, he cherished time with his wife, children and granddaughter, who were the center of his world.
He is survived by his loving wife Colleen and his children: his daughter Anisa and her husband Tyler; his daughter Samantha and her husband Anthony; his sons Jay and Javier Jr.; and his cherished granddaughter, Kennedy, who brought immense pride and joy to his life. He is also survived by his father, Carmen, and his siblings Henry, Araceli, and Fabian, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
A devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend, he leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love. We know he would tell us, "This is not a goodbye, just a see you later."
Though he spent his entire life in Hanford, his impact reached far beyond.
