Jane Ann Powell Tos entered into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on July 25, 2022 at her home in Hanford following a long battle with
cancer. The youngest daughter of Ray and Carrie Powell, Jane was born in Hanford on October 23, 1943. She spent her formative years
here, eventually graduating from Hanford High and CSU Fresno. Jane married Bob Tos on January 23, 1965; they enjoyed 57 1/2 years
together. They created a loving home and welcomed three children: Tami Rae, Teri Leigh, and Ryan Robert. A teacher and a bookkeeper, Jane was generous with her gifts, sharing her musical talents on the piano, organ, and harp at church and her love of family and friends through handwritten
notes of encouragement. She loved her backyard morning coffee, a cool breeze, the sound of the ocean, and a good game of cards with family. She was a blessing to many, but she considered her greatest blessings to be her husband, children, and grandchildren. She is
survived by her loving husband, Bob Tos, her children Tami (Tim Zietse), Teri (Phil Girard), and Ryan (Angela) Tos, eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial

service will be held at Hanford First Christian Reformed Church on August 4 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu
