Haley Jo
Avila
July 24, 1989 – January 8, 2021
Together with family and friends, we celebrate the beautiful life of Haley Jo Avila- Terrazas. Born July 24th, 1989 in Hanford, California where she remained until she joined Jesus on January 8th, 2021. She was loved by so many, and the funny part is, she never realized how many people considered her a friend. I hope she can see her Facebook from heaven full of love friends and family have sent her way.
She attended and graduated from Hanford East High School, where she brought home straight A's and attended honors classes. She then went on to become a Cosmetologist, a trade that served her very well. She was excellent in her profession and always rose to the top when working for others. She became a manager of every salon she worked at until she began renting her own booth at Panache and Platinum salon while pursuing her advanced degree, earning her Bachelor's in Business Administration.
As a teenager, Haley enjoyed writing poetry and creating art, crafting pottery and was extremely talented with interior decorating. She had accepted Christ at an early age and confidently sought to walk with God daily.
A beloved aunt, she loved her nephews William Wolfe Buyense, Nathan Wolfe Fogg, and Elijah David Trang. She was best friends with her sisters Kaila and Misty Wolfe, and her little brother, Joshua Terrazas, who was her dream man for sure. She spoiled and loved him, and together they shared a bond that can never be broken, not even by death. She was a funny, sarcastic, and generous human being who loved her pekingese Bugly Jo-Bila AKA Bug!
Along with her immediate family, she is preceded in death by her biological father Joe Avila Jr. as well as her grandfather Jose Avila of Avila Trucking, by her beloved grandpapa Bill, and grandma Lynne Powell.
She is survived by her mother and father, Laura and Gerardo Terrazas, sisters Kaila and Misty Wolfe and brother Joshua, grandpa Mike Powell, and grandma Deborah Hakam, aunts Heather Pierce, Sheree Carson and Samantha Carson, uncles Jay, Troy and Lonnie Ransom. Her Ojai family, the Avila's- grandmother Olga and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We are heartbroken to have to go through life without her earthly body, but can be comforted in knowing that God, our father, will take care of us as we await being reunited in paradise.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world , that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
