Graciela "Chely" Hernandez Rios was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She left this world suddenly on August 31st, 2024, at age 60.

She was born to Manuel and Juanita Hernandez on June 23, 1964. Graciela immigrated to the United States when she was 17 years old and lived in Pasadena.

A few years later she went back to visit her family in Mexico. During that time Graciela reconnected with her husband, Ruben Rios Huerta. Together they have 3 children: Francisca, Ruben, and Lissette.

Graciela loved to cook for her family, her salsa and tamales were her specialty dishes. She loved gardening and doing D.I.Y projects around the house. Her faith was strong and loved praising the lord, she had a lot of wisdom. She was the best mom and grandma; she loved spoiling her grandkids including the furry ones.

Graciela wasn't just a mother and grandma to her own kids but with everyone she met. Her love language was caring for others and being kind to everyone. She always had a smile on her face no matter what obstacle came her way.

Nació el 23 de junio de 1964, hija de Manuel y Juanita Hernández. Graciela emigró a los Estados Unidos cuando tenía 17 años y vivía en Pasadena.

Unos años más tarde volvió a visitar a su familia en México. Durante ese tiempo, Graciela se reencontró con su esposo, Rubén Ríos Huerta. Juntos tienen 3 hijos: Francisca, Rubén y Lissette.

A Graciela le encantaba cocinar para su familia, su salsa y tamales eran sus platos especiales. Le encantaba la jardinería y hacer proyectos  en la casa. Su fe era fuerte y amaba alabar al Señor, tenía mucha sabiduría. Era la mejor mamá y abuela; Le encantaba mimar a sus nietos, incluidos sus perritos.

Su lenguaje de amor era cuidar de los demás y ser amable con todos.Siempre tenía una sonrisa en su rostro, sin importar qué obstáculo se le presentara.
