I will never be, the same again
without you
the life of my soul,
the joy of my heart
the light in my eyes,
the hope of my dreams,
the comfort of my lonely nights,
without you my beloved,
I grieve and cry,
I grope and stumble in the dark,
I weep with all my soul
I desire with all my heart
I let go of all of me that you took away with you

Geraldine May van Overbeek (Cordero) On Monday, 4/17/2017 Geraldine May van Overbeek passed away unexpectedly in her sleep and went to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus. Geraldine , who was known as Gerry, Pee-Wee to her family, and Oma to her grandchildren, was born on July 19, 1958 to Tom and Jerry Cordero of Hanford, CA. The oldest of six children, Gerry met and married her husband Martin in 1991 and they recently celebrated 25 yrs together. Together Gerry and Martin have three children: Sandra Lee Mathis-Guerra and her husband Anthony; Cliff David van Overbeek and his wife Candice; and Sun David van Overbeek. Gerry and Martin are also blessed with 7 grandchildren: Raven Anderson; Matilyn Mathis; Emily Guerra; Owen van Overbeek; Evan Mathis; Gabrielle Guerra; and Adam Guerra. As Oma, she always enjoyed weekends with her grandkids and trips to Pismo Beach. Gerry was preceded in death by her son George Skaggs; her parents, Tom & Jerry Cordero; sister, Patricia Cordero; niece, Allison Cordero; and great-niece, Maycee Mullins. Gerry is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren; brother, Thomas Cordero and his wife Maria; brother, Joe Cordero and his wife Debbie; sister, Filly Reynolds and her husband Corey, and sister, Angelic Cisneros and her husband Robert. She is an irreplaceable part of so many lives and will be greatly missed.
