George Leon Staley Sr passed peacefully Friday, June 2, 2023, George commonly known as Leon was Born March 7, 1962, raised in Riverdale CA by his father Paul Edward Staley Sr and Laura Oliga Bernice Staley. George was the youngest of Four, being Estella Holland, Ann Nimmo, and Eddie Staley. On May 6, 1983, George married the love of his life Rosie Marie Goldsmith. September 17, 1984, George and Rosie Staley had their first born, George Leon Staley Jr. Three years later on December 14, 1987, Rosie and George had their second child, Eric Edward Jerome Staley. George Staley spent his younger years as a Firefighter and EMT for American Ambulance. His later years you could find George driving semi where often people knew him as "Uncle Monkey" As time went by, he became the best Grandpa to his two grandchildren Ryder Jerome Staley and Riley Leeanna. Both Grandchildren being, "his pride and joy". George was an Amazing Brother, Husband, Father, Grandpa and Friend to anyone he crossed paths with. George will Have his Last Ride Tuesday June 20th, 2023, in Riverdale CA at 9:30am followed by his Viewing at 10:00am and His Celebration of life at 11:00am at the Riverdale Memorial Hall.
