Errett Everett Hummel, Jr. of Redmond, Oregon and Indian Wells, California passed away on April 11, 2017 at the age of 77. Errett is survived by his wife Lesley, his children Errett Hummel, Monica Hummel and Kimberly Leung, his grandchildren and his sister, Susan Lester.

Errett was a kind, compassionate man and loving husband. He worked many years as an empathetic and deeply caring, conservative neurosurgeon. He took great pride in his work and devoted himself to his many patients.

Errett was also very quick witted, funny and was always surrounded by friends. He loved to golf, watch college sports and travel with Lesley in his earlier years. He always had a quick joke or a funny story, he was one to always make you laugh.

We all have such fond memories of Errett. We will miss him dearly.
