Elaine A. Trainer passed on May 25th, 2026, at the age of 87 with her daughter Donna by her side. Her battle with dementia is finally over and her mind is free. Elaine was born to mother Alice Veronica Moline and father Romeo Joseph Messier in Fall River, Massachusetts during the hurricane Elaine on September 23, 1938. She would refer to herself as what the wind blow in.
She is preceded in death by both of her parent's: mother, Alice V. Moline, father, Romeo Joseph Messier,
brother Norman Joseph Messier and sister Patricia (Patsy) Ann Ainsburg. Both of her husband's Richard A Smith and Paul (Pat) Trainer.
She is survived by her two daughters; Donna M. Smith, Judy (Johnie) Sampson, Grandchildren; William (Willie) Colwell (Shawna Doucette), Jeanette (Adam) Mufford, Daniel (Jacquelyn) Stonecipher, Jonathan (Jon) (Chelsea) Stonecipher, Great-Grandchildren; Blake Colwell, Rylan Colwell, Alora Mufford, Xander Mufford, Avery Mufford, Harley Stonecipher, William Stonecipher, Travis Stonecipher, and Lily Stonecipher Bonus Great- Grandchildren; Jabin Cunningham, Kamdin Cunningham, Makaila Meyer, Kimberly Meyer, Dominic Doucette, Bradley Landers, Raine Rieux. Bonus Great-Great -Grandchildren; Oliver Cunningham, Dawson Cunningham, Levi Garcia and Hudson Hall.
Elaine loved spending time with her family and friends. She would smile when all the children called her Grandma Choo-Choo. She also liked to travel, read, crafts, crocheting, puzzles, word search and her favorite past time was playing BINGO.
The act of inurnment will be at Green Valley in Cameron Park California date to be determined.
