Eddie Munoz Salinas 69, of Hanford CA passed away at 5:30a.m. on Sunday October 30th, 2022.  His last wishes were to be home in his bed surrounded by his loved ones. Eddie was born in Reedley, Colorado on May 8,1953 to parents Efrain Salinas and Victoria Munoz (Departed June 24, 2007) of Texas. He married his wife Lydia Ramos on May 13, 1978, in Reno, Nevada.  They shared two children together son Stephen Edward Salinas and daughter Stacey Ann Salinas of Hanford.  After the loss of his sister Sandra Munoz Salinas (Departed October 25, 1988) he inherited her three children Rico De La Torre, Elena Valentina De La Torre, and Gabriel De La Torre (Departed October 23, 2011) Eddie worked as a professional painter for 10 plus years.  After being injured on the job site, he took on a hobby of working on his classic vehicles and refinishing cherry wood furniture for family and friends.  Eddie was known for always being the life of the party and sharing stories with others about his experiences throughout his life.

Eddie is survived by wife Lydia R. Salinas; children Stephen and Stacey Salinas; Rico and Elena De La Torre; 17 grandchildren; sisters Terry Hernandez and Maryann Sanchez; brother Albert Salinas and numerous nieces, nephews and many families and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Victoria Munoz; brother David Salinas (passed away on July 28, 2013); sister Sandra Salinas; and son Gabriel De La Torre.

Eddie will especially be remembered for always sharing his love and opening his door to anyone in need.  His strength always kept him fighting and his doctors always referred to him as the Miracle Man! His final days on earth were everything he asked for and more.  He left us at peace with a smile on his face.  His good advice will always be remembered and never forgotten.

Funeral services will be held on November 18th, 2022, 11a.m. at Hanford Cemetery District 10500 S 10th Ave, Hanford, CA 93230 followed by a Celebration of Life at the Kings County Bowl 1050 Lacey Blvd, Hanford, CA 93230
