Dolores "Lola" Gonzales Lay, 60, passed away on February 27, 2017 in the comfort of her loving family. Lola was born in Hanford, CA on September 6, 1956 to Johnny C. and Porfiria Gonzales and raised in Lemoore, CA. A devoted mother, daughter, sister and Nana, Lola is survived by her sons; Ricky Lay and wife Shalynn, Joseph Lay; her daughter Rebecca Gomez and husband Jorge. Her four beloved grandchildren; Gavin, Adalynn, Sofia and Madisyn. Her brothers; Leon Gonzales, and Rene Gonzales, sisters; Stella Webb, Mercedes Katz, Sylvia Rocha and Beatriz Martinez and dozens of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents and brother Robert Gonzales.

Lola's zest for life was best illustrated through her love and devotion to her family and her unwavering faith in the Lord. Her commitment to God and her children were evident by her selfless actions and continuously putting them first. She truly lived her life with the awareness of God's love, it was ever present in all her choices and decisions. With the kind of humor filled with wit, she loved to tease and laugh, even at herself. She loved holidays and family get-togethers, any chance to spend time with her family was special and so important to her. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.

There will be a visitation on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5:30-6:00p.m. with Rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Noon everything taking place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Lemoore Cemetery.
