It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Destiny Layne Ybarra, who left this world too young at the age 42. Destiny was born in Hanford and raised in Stratford and Lemoore where she built lifelong friendships and created countless memories. She was a woman of incredible strength, resilience, and unconditional love. No matter what life placed in her path, she faced it with courage, determination, and a smile that could brighten even the darkest days. To know Destiny was to know laughter. She was crazy in the best way, funny, silly, and full of life. She had a way of making everyone around her smile and always knew how to lift someone’s spirits. Her caring heart and selfless nature led her to always put her family first. Whether someone needed advice, a helping hand, or simply someone to listen, Destiny was always there. She loved watching Friends, I Love Lucy, and basketball. She also loved spending time with the people she loved most. Family was everything to her, and the love she gave will continue to live on in each of them.Above all, Destiny was a caring partner, a devoted mother, a loving sister, a cherished aunt, a respected cousin, a considerate daughter, and a proud grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Ybarra and her brother Michael Ybarra. She leaves behind a family who will forever carry her love in their hearts: Kenny, Kyra, Beunju, Chanel, Saige, and her dog Lucy, along with many other relatives and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her kindness and strength. To those who knew her, Destiny was one of the strongest people anyone could ever meet. Her courage, humor, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the memories she gave us. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
