Darrell W. Marmon, aged 68, passed away on October 31, 2024, in Lancaster, CA. Resident of Hanford CA. Born on November 26, 1955, in Memphis, TN, Darrell lived a life marked by dedication, humor, and love for his family.

Darrell served 12 years in the Navy as a Corpsman, where he received multiple distinguished awards for his service. He continued his role as a Corpsman until his retirement, dedicating his life to the care and well-being of others, embodying the discipline and commitment he learned in the Navy.

Known for his fun-loving personality and as a bit of a jokester, Darrell never took life too seriously, yet he was a dedicated family man. An avid bike rider, Darrell found joy and freedom on the open road, a passion that he nurtured throughout his life. He was also a lifelong fan of the Raiders, demonstrating his loyalty and spirited support every season. He had a passion for
cooking and treasured his jazz record collection.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Jill Marmon; his older brothers, Barry Marmon (Maria) and Rodney Marmon (Antoinette); his son, Darrell Marmon Jr. (three grandchildren); stepchildren, Devon Siefken (Nathan, two grandchildren), Rheann Ridley (Travis, two grandchildren), and
Nathan Deister (Kelsie, one grandchild). He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Bettie Marmon, and his brother Henry Marmon. Darrell shared a special bond with his first-born grandson, Kaleb Marmon, cherishing their time together.

Darrell's life was marked by his unwavering service, both in uniform and in his personal life, touching the lives of all who knew him with his humor and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. His legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
