Catherine "Cathy" Margaret Rose was the firstborn to Elizabeth and John Collins in Atlantic City, New Jersey on May 28th, 1946. She was a loving and devoted daughter to both of her parents, as well as to her dedicated stepfather Lawrence Fernan. Our heavy hearts are comforted knowing that along with her parents, Cathy will be met at the Gates of Heaven by her brothers John "Jack" and baby Lawrence Jr., as well as her two Angel Babies.

The importance of family was instilled in Catherine early on while she spent her childhood years with her maternal family in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and her paternal family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Though she moved to Adak, Alaska in her teens, she always expressed her love and admiration for her East Coast family that forever held a piece of her heart.

It was in Adak, Alaska that Cathy met the love of her life, and father to her children, Ronald Rose. They were married December 27, 1964 and shared six beautiful children together. Her marriage to Ron led her to California, where she raised her children and spent the rest of her years. Catherine spent the majority of her life in Southern California where she was active in the Catholic Church and volunteered for the right to life League. Later in life, Catherine worked for the Baldwin Park School District with special needs children, and as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor in Orange County.

Catherine was a loving and supportive mother, and her children were her biggest pride and joy. Her greatest treasure in life was the beautiful family that she had built. Catherine is survived by her six children Michelle, Ronald Jr, Kelly, John, Christine, and Therese, as well as her 26 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren that she adored above all else. She will be forever loved and always remembered.

Services will be held at St. Peter's Church located at 870 N. Lemoore Ave. Lemoore, Ca 93245

And will begin with a Rosary at 10 A.M. with mass to follow immediately after. For those that may not be able to attend in person please attend virtually:
