Carol Lee Silva
December 21, 1944 – January 29, 2026
Carol was born on December 21st, 1944, in Glendale, California to Jesse & Jennie High.
When she was a toddler her family moved to Reno, Nevada where Carol spent her formative years. She attended grammar school in Reno and Reno High School for three years before moving to Hanford, California when she was 16 years old. Carol attended and graduated from Hanford High School in 1962.
Carol married Anthony (Tony) J. Silva on September 14th, 1963. They were blessed with four children. Carol spent most of her time raising her beautiful family, yet found time to work part time at Armona School, LaMoine Drug Store, Tot & Teen, All That Jazz, The Judge's Chamber and Claire's Boutique. She found great joy in traveling near and far to attend sporting events, school programs, birthday parties, etc. for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very proud of each of them and often said "there's not a frog in the bunch!". She never met a stranger and had the beautiful and unmatched gift of making all who entered their home feel very welcomed and loved.
Carol is survived by her children; Anthony (Judi) Silva, Damon Silva (Amy), Justin (Nadia) Silva and Jill Silva (Bud Paulo), five grandchildren; Jesse (Matt) McDonald, Cole (Kacy) Silva, Markley (Patrick) Rocha, Blake Silva (Nate Brummit) and Stevee Silva, six great-grandchildren; Luke, Taegan, Grant, Hallie, Lainee Jo & Lucy. Her sister-in-law MaryAnn Clark and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and three sisters; Nancy Marhbank, Marilyn Roanhaus and Phyllis High, her brother in laws; Edward Silva and Edwin Silva, sister in laws; Aurora Cotta, Ludy Rodrigues, and Josephine Verdegaal.
