Carmen G. Thurman (Milstead), was born on January 22, 1953, to Nelson and Hazel Robinson in Pennsylvania. She entered into rest on July 24, 2020, after an ongoing battle of cancer in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She married James Milstead and together they had 10 wonderful years, God was the center of their life's and made it through some difficult times in life. She loved children that she worked as a day care provider for couple of years.

She is survived by her husband James, three sons, David, Michael and Christopher; two daughters Kattie and Natalie, one brother Larry, two sisters, Jeanie and Natalie, three grandchildren and one stepson.
