Barbara Ann Alamea was born on October 17, 1956 in Hanford, California, to Raymond and Eloise Alamea. Barbara Ann passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on August 6, 2018 at the age of 61 in Fresno, California. She attended the Shelly Baird School for children with special needs from the age of 10 through 21. After she completed her education at Shelly Baird School she became a volunteer teacher's aid caring for infants and toddlers. Barbara Ann adored being around babies and children and they adored her in return. Family gatherings and barbeques were Barbara Ann's favorites and she loved helping prepare the food with her mother and family. She was a lover of music, Disney Movies, the Buffalo Bills, make up and nail polish. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and would do anything to make them happy. Barbara Ann will be greatly missed by all.
Barbara Ann is survived by her mother Eloise, brother Raymond Jr. her four nieces, Angela, Tina Maria, Melissa, Sarah, her nephew Benny, three great- nieces, Bianca, McKinley and Sophia, and five great-nephews, Luke, Jayden, Mark, Sam and Micah.
She is preceded in death by her father Raymond, and brothers, Benny, Raul and Vincent.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 rosary at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Everything will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery
