On October 28th, 2024, the world lost one of its kindest souls as Alicia Guzman peacefully
passed away at the age of 77. Born on May 1st, 1947, in the city of Durango, Durango, Mexico,
Alicia's journey through life was paved with love, devotion, and unwavering faith in her Christian
beliefs. After moving to Armona, California, she built a life marked with selflessness and warmth
which she generously shared with everyone she encountered. She was known for her immense
heart, she was truly the kindest soul we have had the privilege to know. Her life was a testament
to her deep faith. She was well known for her love of coffee, shopping, and cheetah print.
Alicia met and married Jose Guzman in Monterrey, Mexico. They both made the decision to
move their family to California sometime after. They shared 6 children total, two have sadly
passed on. From the 6, she was blessed with 15 grandchildren with whom she made lasting
memories with. God also allowed her to make more beautiful memories with some of the great
grandchildren too. She had a total of 29 great grandchildren. She was truly a strong individual,
and fought very hard until the very end. Those memories we made will live on in our hearts
along with the advice and love she gave us all.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Guzman, her daughter Lilly Guzman, her brother
and Stepson. Alicia is survived by her children Blanca, Tacho, Juanita, & Kris.
We will all forever miss her.

El 28 de Octubre de 2024, el mundo perdió a una de sus almas más bondadosas cuando Alicia
Guzmán falleció pacíficamente a la edad de 77 años. Nacida el 1 de Mayo de 1947 en la ciudad
de Durango, Durango, México, el viaje de Alicia por la vida estuvo lleno de amor, devoción, y fe
inquebrantable en sus creencias Cristianas. Después de mudarse a Armona, California,
construyó una vida marcada por el altruismo y la calidez que compartió generosamente con
todos los que conoció. Ella era conocida por su inmenso corazón, era verdaderamente el alma
más bondadosa que hemos tenido el privilegio de conocer. Su vida fue un testimonio de su
profunda fe. Era muy conocida por su amor por el café, las compras, y el estilo de leopardo.
Alicia conoció y se casó con José Guzmán en Monterrey, México. Ambos tomaron la decisión
de trasladar a su familia a California algún tiempo después. Compartieron 6 hijos en total, dos
lamentablemente fallecieron. A partir de los 6 hijos, fue bendecida con 15 nietos con quienes
creó recuerdos bonitos. Dios también le permitió crear recuerdos más hermosos con algunos
de sus bisnietos. Tuvo un total de 29 bisnietos. Ella era realmente una persona fuerte y luchó
hasta el final. Esos recuerdos que creamos vivirán en nuestros corazones junto con los
consejos y el amor que ella nos dio a todos.
Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo José Guzmán, su hija Lilly Guzmán, su hermano y su
hijastro. A Alicia le sobreviven sus hijos Blanca, Tacho, Juanita y Kris. Todos la extrañaremos
por siempre.
